The fate of our planet rests not only in our hands today but more so in those of the generations to come. And who better to champion environmental awareness among young people than the youth themselves?
Recognizing this truth, the USE IT AGAIN team is embarking on a mission to empower young environmental ambassadors through the USE IT AGAIN For YOUTH initiative. This endeavor focuses on refurbishing the USE IT AGAIN Trimaran, aligning its renovation with the principles of the circular economy.
Here's the concept: We acquire an old racing boat and meticulously repair it, following the ethos of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Our aim? To transform it into a vessel primed for high-level offshore racing, all while championing sustainability
Leading the charge as the skipper of our inaugural USE IT AGAIN for YOUTH boat is Titouan Pilliard. At just 17 years old, Titouan is a high school student and a dedicated foil windsurfing sailor. He's deeply committed to climate action, actively involved with the Youth for Climate association and serving as an ambassador for the Children For The Ocean association. Notably, Titouan is the son of Romain, a prominent figure in sailing circles
Titouan has been selected amongst more than 1,000 youth to participate at their 9th Our Ocean Conference this April in Greece to discuss Our Ocean An Ocean of Potential - https://www.ourocean2024.gov.gr/
Following the conference, Titouan has been honored with the title of Sustainable Ocean Alliance Youth Leader for France
